
Niver Dew Cottage comfortably sleeps 3 and sits in the small village of Pendeen in the far West of Cornwall. It faces south and so either gets the sun all day or the Cornish weather as it rolls in from the Atlantic.
The grade II listed cottage was built of local Cornish granite stone c.1750 as a small miner’s cottage. To the front is Pendeen Carn which is about 10minutes walk to the top from which can be seen a spectacular 180 degree view of the north Cornish Coast and on a clear day you can just make out the Isles of Scilly.
The accommodation comprises of a cosy sitting room with beam ceiling, exposed granite walls and a multi fuel stove. Amenities include digital television, DVD player and a BT pay as you go phone. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an electric oven, with all other appliances provided (fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave). There are old fashioned slate and wooden floors throughout the sitting room, kitchen and bedrooms. The front double bedroom has a king size bed, with a small built in wardrobe and a large chest of drawers. The single back bedroom has a view of the fields and the Atlantic beyond with spectacular sunsets. Bed Linen, towels and beach towels are all provided. The bathroom has a roll top bath and separate shower.
