The Cottage and was originally a barn built of Scottish stone in approx 1810 and was part of Grennan Farm, which is still a working hill farm. As a result of it being a barn conversion the cottage is spacious and comfortably sleeps 4 in two roomy bedrooms. It sits on its own in a large fenced in garden surrounded by rolling hills, facing south to south west it either gets the sun all day or the Irish Weather at it rolls in. The cottage is ideally suited for absolute relaxation or for being really active, depending on what type of holiday you are looking for. The Cottage overlooks the Glenken Hills and the Dumfries and Galloway Forrest Park, it is only a mile from Loch Ken which has a sailing and water ski centre.

The Cottage has an open plan and comfortable sitting and dining room with ample of seating and dinning space for 4 people. There is a large multi fuel wrought iron stove, a wall mounted Sky TV, DVD player, and BT pay as you go phone.

The Kitchen is fully equipped and has a electric double oven range cooker, with all other appliances provided (fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.) So is home from home and if you like cooking you should find all that you need.

Both bedrooms are large with plenty of storage.
